I built what I was looking for.
I'm a neuroscientist. I still lost hours on social media most nights, my phone was the first thing I check in the morning.
I tried the apps that promised to help. They locked me out, I found my way around them, and I ended up feeling worse than before, now with guilt on top.
Eventually, I got tired of the guilt and decided to build something different. I studied how these platforms are designed to keep us scrolling, what the research says about how habits actually change, and spoke with 30 people about why we reach for our phones in the first place.
Reclaim doesn't fight your habits. It helps you see them, so you can choose what comes next.
Most apps are built to take your attention. Reclaim is built to give it back.
